Fletcher uses pine, cedar and oak wood as well as hardware to make his crafts. It usually takes him about four hours to complete one item. He began making these items because of his love of woodwork crafts. Fletcher has been making woodwork for twenty-five years. The most rewarding aspect of this part of his life is seeing children enjoying the toys that he makes. His work is also available at the Alabama Rural Heritage Foundation in Thomaston, Alabama.
